The Retreat is one of the most popular condo communities on James Island. Most of these were built in 2004 and 2005, they so are relatively new. The Retreat has good amenities, and it is tucked away from Folly Road. So, it has a good location, but it also has plenty of privacy.
Mira Vista has a very different feel to it than some of the other James Island condo communities. It has colorful exteriors and interesting architecture. Mira Vista is a condo conversion and was originally started around 2001. Home buyers generally like the feel of this community, but they don’t like the high regime fees. So, be sure to take regime fees into account when comparing these James Island communities.
