Since condos do not have backyards, most of the communities have common areas that are maintained through monthly regime fees. Mt. Pleasant condo regime fees range from about $130 to more than $400 per month and usually include access to the community's amenities, maintenance of the common areas, exterior maintenance of the building, and sometimes insurance. Because this monthly expense can really influence the affordability of your condo, we generally provide our clients with estimates of some of the most popular Mt. Pleasant condo communities. This way, you can compare the true costs of the communities you're considering.

If you're looking to buy a home in Mt. Pleasant with a price range under $250K, we recommend considering condos and townhouses. Although you can certainly find houses under $250K in Mt. Pleasant, these are much further from downtown, and they usually require more work and out-of-pocket expense than most buyers in this price range can make (most are considered tear-downs rather than fixer-uppers).
