The schools are Daniel Island Elementary, Hanahan Middle School, and Hanahan High School. There is also a private Catholic high school, Bishop England, and a pre-school on the island. Often homeowners choose to send their children to Daniel Island Elementary up until 8th grade and then to Bishop England for the remainder of their schooling.
