Charleston Wine + Food Festival: February 28 – March 3, 2013

The annual BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival is coming up on February 28 and runs through March 3. This event celebrates Charleston’s excellence in the culinary arts and also benefits scholarship programs for the hospitality and culinary workplace.   • Adam Perry Lang, Daisy Mae's BBQ USA: Sat., March 2, from 3:30 to 4:15 PM, Chef Lang will offer fresh made samples paired with Avalon wines. Charleston Wine and Food Festival Culinary Village, 329 Meeting Street, Downtown
  • Hank's Seafood and Peninsula Grill Cookbook Signing: Sat., March 2, from 11 AM to 2 PM, join Peninsula Grill Executive Chef Graham Dailey and Hank's Seafood Executive Chef Frank McMahon for an authors' reception and cookbook signing. Charleston Wine + Food Festival Culinary Village, 329 Meeting Street, Downtown
  • America's Great Foods Recipe Challenge: Sat., March 2, from 11:30 AM to 2:45 PM, three contestants will serve up their entrees with the help of celebrity chef Kelly Liken. Festival guests will vote to determine who wins the $10,000 Grand Prize. Avalon Wine Outdoor Living + Grilling Tent, Marion Square, Downtown
  • Master Class: Pasta 101: Sat., March 2, Get an introduction to the art of pasta making with Jeff Michaud of Osteria Restaurant and Amis Restaurant. Demo includes a wine tasting. SCE&G Celebrity Kitchen Tent, Marion Square, Downtown
