March Events in Charleston, SC

This year, March will see 3 of Charleston’s big annual festivals. The soonest will be the Charleston Wine + Food Festival taking place March 6 through 9. Tickets tend to sell out quickly so we wanted to go ahead and let you know the dates in case you’ll be in town. The festival features chefs, authors, food personalities, farmers, and other culinary experts in a wide range of events from tastings to cooking demonstrations. If you’ll be in town March 20 through April 19, the 67th annual Festival of Houses and Gardens will have plenty of opportunities to see some of Charleston’s most impressive residences dating to the 18th century. Options include walking tours, boat cruises, food and drink tastings, and oyster roasts, just to name a few.
Also, the Charleston Antiques Show will be March 21 through 23 this year (pictured). Imagine Memminger Auditorium filled with American and European furnishings, fine arts, garden and architectural elements, silver, and vintage jewelry ranging from the 17th to 20th centuries. If this sounds appealing, then you’ll have a lot of fun because it’s unlike any other Charleston festival.
