Meridian Place Townhouses on James Island

Home buyers generally like Meridian Place townhouses on James Island because they are relatively new, and they’re in a great location.  Folly Beach is about a 5 minute drive, and downtown Charleston is less than a 10 minute drive.  Meridian Place has some of the lowest monthly regime fees that you’ll find on James Island (approximately $67 per month), and the fees cover maintenance of the common areas, landscaping and irrigation for the individual townhouses, a termite bond, and access to the walking trails and tennis court.  Few townhouse or condo neighborhoods have walking trails, and Meridian Place also has several ponds throughout the community.  Each townhouse has a backyard that is fenced, and the owner is responsible for maintaining the backyard.  But, other than that, these units are very low-maintenance.

Buyers also tend to like Meridian Place because all of the townhouses are one story – so no steps! It’s also a very dog-friendly neighborhood, and the James Island County Park (which has a nice dog park) is just a few minutes away!  Lastly, some of the townhouses in the back of Meridian Place even have garages, so there are several options available to home buyers.
