As Gold Pass Members and frequent visitors of the parks, we also include lots of their events and festivals on our social media posts, blogs, and weekly home listing updates. Whether you're considering relocating to Mount Pleasant or already live in the area and are looking for things to do, you must check out the Palmetto Islands County Park location off Longpoint Road!

From a cost perspective, the Gold Pass pays for itself several times over in our house hold, and we consider it one of the best buys you can find in Charleston. Members can enjoy free admission to any of the park locations (this includes free parking at its beach locations which feature showers), a pass for 1 car into the Holiday Festival of Lights, and other discounts throughout the year. We highly recommend taking advantage of our great park system if you love the outdoors, if you have kids who love to play, or if you're looking for a new spot to exercise. You can learn more about the locations and current offerings on the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission website!
