New construction homes can be hard to find at Folly Beach. This is because almost all of the island that can be developed is already developed. For this reason, you'll find that the new construction houses at Folly are priced considerably higher than the older homes.
Most of these newer homes are either beachfront or on the second row from the beach. In the Charleston area, Folly Beach is known for its eclectic mix of home styles, and almost all of the homes were built from the 1970's to the 1990's. If you don't find what you're looking for at Folly, be sure to check out Charleston's other beaches because they'll have a larger selection of new homes for sale.
