Newer Homes Just Past Hwy 41

Porchers Preserve is a Mount Pleasant community developed in 2015 and 2016 by Pulte Homes. Location is one of the biggest selling points for this neighborhood because residents can walk or bike to The Market at Oakland shopping center. Although it’s just past Hwy 41, many commuters prefer this easier access to Hwy 17 compared to the commuter traffic associated with the large scaled communities Rivertowne or Dunes West off Hwy 41. Many of these homes for sale have the double front porches and Low Country styles that are so popular. Many buyers also prefer the smaller, more intimate feel of this 2 street community (Sharpestowne Court and Bella Oaks Drive) compared to the larger master planned communities that Mt. Pleasant is known for.
