Tidal Walk is a DR Horton new community in Mount Pleasant, SC. It’s located off Seacoast Parkway which runs parallel to Interstate 526, making it ideal for buyers wanting easier commuting access to I-526. In the community map, you’ll see Phase 1 in the gray shaded area (Swallowtail Court and part of Turnstone Street), and Phase 2 is shown in light yellow (Red Knot Lane, Kildeer Court, and the rest of Turnstone Street).
These DR Horton floor plans range from 3 to 6 bedrooms and 1,733 to 3,366 square feet. For the square footage and the location inside Hwy 41, it should be no surprise that the initial phase sold so quickly. Usually buyers have to live much further out to get this affordability in Mount Pleasant. The only downside to its location is its close proximity to the interstate. Some buyers find it ideal, while others want more of a buffer.
Tidal Walk is zoned for Belle Hall Elementary, Laing Middle, and Wando High School which rank very well in Charleston and are also a big selling point for the community.
The community pool and club house are located on Turnstone Street on the left as soon as you enter the neighborhood. The HOA fee is about $1,424 per year which is high compared to other Mount Pleasant new construction communities (especially since there is not a full spectrum of amenities).
