Reminisce offers affordable newer homes in Summerville. Most of these were built between 2006 and 2012. Buyers tend to like the Lowcountry style designs (many with double front porches) and the abundant square footage for this price range. Most of these floor plans offer 1800 to 3200 square feet, 4 bedrooms with 2.5 baths, and 2 car garages. The majority of these houses have vinyl exteriors, but you’ll also see some with brick worked into the design. If you’re looking for a 1 story home, Reminisce does not offer many options since almost all of the homes have 2 or 3 stories. Also, most of these master bedrooms are upstairs.
The biggest drawback we hear from home buyers is the smaller than average lot sizes (most are about 0.15 acre). As a result of the lots, the builders have chosen floor plans that build up in order to not compromise on square footage (Reminisce has more 3 story homes than probably any other neighborhood in Summerville).
Home buyers who choose Reminisce are usually looking for newer homes that are move-in ready with lots of space, do not mind stairs, and want to be zoned for the desirable Dorchester 2 School District. Specifically, Knightsville Elementary, Dubose Middle, and Summerville High are the schools that Reminisce homeowners are zoned for. Another selling point for this community is the swimming pool (pictured). Reminisce is located off Butternut Road in Summerville.
