Edgewater Park is one of only a few West Ashley neighborhoods with its own boat ramp. The landing (pictured right) is located on Coburg Creek, which leads to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Charleston Harbor. Edgewater Park is a good neighborhood to consider for buyers wanting an affordable home with easy water access nearby or a marshfront home with private dock that won't break the bank (a combination that can be hard to find in Charleston County). This community is located off Wappoo Road, which is about half a mile inside Interstate 526. The Citadel Mall and its surrounding movie theater, shops, and restaurants are also conveniently 5-10 minutes away.
