A 5-10 minute drive will take you to some of the local favorite restaurants off Maybank Highway such as Wild Olive, Fat Hen, and Maria's Mexican Grill.
One of the closest private schools is Porter Gaud, which is about 13 miles from the community. The zoned public schools are Angel Oak Elementary, Haut Gap Middle, and St. Johns High.
