Belle Hall is a fantastic neighborhood to consider for home buyers looking inside of the Isle of Palms Connector. This prime Mount Pleasant location makes for a shorter commute to Downtown Charleston or the Ravenel Bridge. Interstate 526 is adjacent to Belle Hall, which is also very convenient for commuters. Residents can enjoy walking to Belle Hall Shopping Center, which is just across Long Point Road. The elementary school is also within walking distance of most homes.
The most affordable homes in Belle Hall tend to be located in the front subsections, The Veranda and Rice Bay. These traditional style houses have vinyl exteriors and were built mostly in the 1990s. You’ll find 1 of the community pools and 1 kids’ park in The Veranda. The back sections include Hibben, Evian, and The Island. Here, you’ll find newer custom and semi-custom homes built after 2004. Many of these are upgraded with cement plank siding and boast Low Country and Charleston styles. Explore more Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods!

Belle Hall: Mount Pleasant Community with Full Amenities
Belle Hall is located where Long Point Road and Interstate 526 intersect in Mount Pleasant. Belle Hall is approximately 10 minutes from Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island beaches, and it's about 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston during non-rush hours (about 30 minutes when there is traffic). The neighborhood amenities include two pools, basketball court, tennis courts, a club house, volleyball court, walking trails, and a few play parks. Most homes are 3 to 5 bedrooms, at least 2 full baths, and range in square footage from 1,400 to over 5,000 square feet.
The front two sections of Belle Hall (Rice Bay and The Veranda) are traditional vinyl homes built in the mid to late 1990’s. Most have been kept up well, and some have been completely renovated. One of the pools and one of the children's play parks is located in The Veranda section. The back sections (Evian, The Island, and Hibben) were built much more recently, from 2004 to the present. These homes are custom built in the Low Country style. Most have separate garages or carports and a hardy plank (cement plank) exterior with lots of interior upgrades. Yards are smaller than the average, about 0.14 to just under ¼ of an acre. In The Island section, lots can be almost ¾ of an acre, which is quite large for Mt. Pleasant new construction. Parents of young children typically like this neighborhood for its convenience to Belle Hall Elementary School, which has an excellent rating as does Cario Middle and Lucy Beckham High Schools. The elementary school is within a short walk of the neighborhood, and the Belle Hall Shopping Center is just across Long Point Road. Most people who buy a home in Belle Hall do not want to consider homes past the Isle of Palms Connector. They would rather be closer to Downtown than have more square footage or more yard space.
