Rivertowne is divided into two separate communities - each with its own amenities. Rivertowne Country Club is a golfing community, and it's one of the nicest in Mt. Pleasant. Rivertowne on the Wando is a river front community located on the Wando River in Mt. Pleasant. It has three docks for its residents as well as a pool and tennis courts. Many of these homes have classic Charleston styles and spectacular waterfront views. The two Rivertowne communities are really quite different from each other, and buyers usually know which section suits them better just after driving through the areas. Rivertowne Country Club has more homes to choose from and has a mix of different styles. Rivertowne on the Wando generally has smaller homes on smaller lots, but buyers tend to really like the the Charleston styles.

Rivertowne Country Club
The golf course at Rivertowne Country Club is a top ten rated Arnold Palmer Signature course, and it was the site for the May 2007 LPGA hosted by Annika Sorenstam.
Of the 18 holes on this semi-private course, 13 are played along Horlbeck Creek and the Wando River, providing excellent marsh views. It's been given a 4.5 star rating in Golf Digest's Places to Play, named among the Top 15 Places to Play in the State by The Post and Courier (Charleston's main newspaper), and voted a South Carolina Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association.

A kids' play park is located in the amenities section.
There's a large swimming pool plus a small kiddie pool. You'll see views of the golf course in the background.
You'll also find 2 tennis courts.
Rivertowne on the Wando
This is the main community dock for Rivertowne on the Wando. The dock is gated and locked for added security.
The gazebo and dock have expansive views of the Wando River.
A neighborhood park overlooks the river as well.
Rivertowne on the Wando has its own pool that is separate from the Country Club.
