james island condosThe Peninsula is located on your left as you're coming over the James Island Connector from downtown (directly behind Lowe's). The stop light at Ellis Oak Drive provides easy access to Folly Road, since this is one of the busiest streets on James Island. The Peninsula was originally built as apartments in 2001, but the buildings were converted to condos a few years later. The Peninsula condo regime fees are also quite steep, with prices ranging from about $217 to $458 per month (the HOA is currently working on getting these lower). regatta condos james islandThe Regatta is the newest condo development on James Island. Built in 2006, this community also has some of the nicest amenities. Monthly regime fees range from $226 to $417 and tend to be more affordable on average than The Peninsula or Mira Vista when you compare the same size condos. If you're looking for a condo with lots of upgrades, The Regatta would be one of the best places on this list to start your search. Buyers like that these condo buildings are mostly brick, since most James Island condos have either vinyl or hardy plank siding.
