The biggest perk of living in Seaside Farms is being within walking distance of so many entertainment options. The Shoppes at Seaside Farms have all of your everyday needs such as a Harris Teeter grocery store, Target, coffee shop, and boutiques. There are great restaurant options as well including Basil Thai Cuisine and Crave Kitchen. If The Shoppes don't have what you're looking for, surely the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre does! The Towne Centre is just a 2 minute drive on the same side of the connector. It has a movie theater and large scale commercial retail stores such as Barnes and Noble.
Seaside Farms is conveniently located on the corner of the Isle of Palms Connector and Rifle Range Road. This Mount Pleasant community is only three minutes from the Isle of Palms beach and five minutes to the beach at Sullivan's Island.
Magnolia Woods is a single family subsection located inside Seaside Farms that was built by Centex Homes (a large track home builder) between 1990 and 2003. The homes are approximately 2,200 to 3,000 square feet and 3 to 5 bedrooms. These are larger than average lot sizes for Mt. Pleasant - around .25 acre.
Cathedral Oaks is a subsection of single family custom homes built from 2004 to the present. This subsection has larger homes starting from 3,100 to 4,000 square feet. Cathedral Oaks lots are quite large for Mount Pleasant standards averaging 0.35 to 0.40 acre. Floor plans range from 3 to 5 bedrooms and are on raised foundations with large drive-under garages. HOA dues are approximately $750 per year providing access to the neighborhood pool, play park, and walking trails.
Seaside Farms should certainly be on your list to consider if you're wanting to live in the heart of Mt. Pleasant or if you're looking for a neighborhood that is within walking distance to groceries, shops, and restaurants. Also, it's only about 20 minutes to downtown.
